No New Posts The Book

It's the book. What book? THE book. And the book has been written by the first castaways that came to Evine. The Book has the rules and lots of information about the region, so if you don't read it, you will definitely not get far. No, not at all.

Here's the general section - simply chat about anything. Forum games, rants, all that stuff goes here. But this doesn't mean you can break any rules. Make sure to see if there's a separate section where you can put your topic that would fit it better, though.

Somehow, you have landed on this island, be it that your ancestors were castaways, or you or your family arrived here from another region recently. Either way, we want to meet you, and here is the place!

Does your character have a journal or diary? Sometimes it's a good idea to say when and where your character meets other people, the Pokemon they caught, or just talk about various things they've done while adventuring the Evine Region.

The lab is a welcoming place. It is a large building made of cool, gray bricks. The path to it is made of large rocks, making it a bit bumpy. But the flowers on either side are quite pretty. As you approach, you can see that, stretching out of the top of the building is a large willow tree that is easily bigger than most of the others in this area. Vines wrap around the lab, giving it a natural look. It is surrounded in bamboo, and often times it's hard to see the bricks through the lush plant life.

Deep in the back of the Lab is a secret room. The door is usually locked, but sometimes it gets left open by foolish, new Aides... You sneak inside, and quickly realize it's a room for new Pokemon never-before recognized! Discovered a new one? Explain it here!

No New Posts Route One

Ahh, the first route. The excited, happy faces of new trainers, and maybe some nostalgic old coots coming about here on memory trips. It's a rather plain route, mostly tall grass waving about in the wind. One of the only spots without tons of trees. There are a few here and there, in tiny clusters, and those are the best spots if you're looking for bird Pokemon. All are relatively weak, never going above level ten. Most are 5 and below.

No New Posts Vinece Town

Ah, good 'ol Vine-ees Town! This is one of the first ever built on the island, and it shows by the buildings all in the trees. Most homes are inside the massive trunks and stretch out a little on large platforms of wood. Tons of bridges go every way, and sometimes it looks tangled and crazy. Need to get to the other side of town? Take a vine and swing there! Plus, there's a gym... It looks like... bug types!

No New Posts Route Two

Since you've beaten the gym now, you're a full trainer. Officially this time. And the first test is... getting through the jungle known as route two! There are a bunch of paths, but it's easy to get lost in this abundance of trees. There are many tropical Pokemon found in this area. Banana trees, coconut trees, trees covered completely in moss and flowers, orchid trees, you name it! A tropical jungle.

No New Posts Raineon City

The first big city ever on the island, and the second biggest in the region! It is located right inside the jungle, though the buildings are a bit more high-tech. Most of them aren't built in the trees, but each has a tree sticking out of them, so it is covered in shade. In the center of each, it's easy enough to see the trunk right in the middle of the building. Here, there are actually streets and roads, and at night, this bustling city is known for the neon signs that are up everywhere.

This route is incredibly wet. The trees seemed to have changed to a swampy type, the roots spreading out through the water. There's a short bridge just barely above that is made of wood. If you stray off the track far enough, you can see the beach and the sea close by. Be careful, since it's known for crocodile and piranha Pokemon. It's quite hot around here, and there are tons of bugs. It can get annoying from time to time with them buzzing by your ear. One warning: Don't go in the water if you can avoid it.

No New Posts Castaway Village

The first town made on the island. Most of the people living here are direct descendants of the first castaways that landed in the region. It's a medium-sized village by the beach. There's sand all over, and the calm sound of the waves lapping at the beach is quite peaceful. Most of the buildings are small huts, and most are surrounded by large patches of reeds. The gym is located in the center of town.

This is actually a rather creepy place. It's a dark forest, sometimes seeming to glow purple in the fog at night time, and there are graves here and there. In fact, it looks like this entire forest is a gravesite. They're rather spaced out, mind you, so you're not walking on tombs. Best not to come here at night time. It always seems ominous, as if you're being watched.

No New Posts Omon Town

Wow. Just wow. This place is a lot like the forest around it... somewhat creepy. The people are happy now, but long ago there was a terrible disease here that brought about hundreds of those tombstones you saw in route four. The buildings are all dark colors, most in the trunks of massive, dark wood trees. Through the mist, it's somewhat hard to see where you're going. Plus, there's that creepy "abandoned" carnival place off to the side of town.

From here, it's much less spooky and much more rocky. It's half forest and half just... rocks. Sometimes there are sandpits you fall in with no warning, and there are many caves for Pokemon to hide in. The rocks are sharp, and there are many cliffs... watch out, for your own good. Even though you're away from Omon Town, there are still some gravesites towards the beginning of the route, most marked with how travelers died by falling off the cliffs.

Well, it looks like a lot like route five. Where are all the buildings? You can see more people walking around, and they laugh at you as you struggle to find the houses and the gym. And there it is - a massive cave that goes underground. The entire city... note the "City" part... is underground, carved in stone. It's well-lit, and looks really modern despite the way it's built. Constant wind storms blow above the surface, which explains why the city is underground.

This route is going up a mountain! It's rather steep, but it won't kill you to hike a little. There's a nice, even pathway cut around the edge to make it easier. The mountain is covered in trees, like most of the region, and there are mostly birds around this area. It's getting chilly, but not so much that you need extra layers. It's rare to find snow, but there certainly are often wind storms, and it can even hail. Be careful, and take shelters in the many caves up the mountainside if this happens.

No New Posts Falk City

Atop the mountain is Falk City, and it seems like it's swarming with bird Pokemon. Flocks crowd on top of buildings, which are built in the trees like normal, though actually in the branches rather than in the trunk. Instead of vines, though, you can take a ride on one of the moving platforms that float above the city. Falk is very high-tech, with robots and such flying around. There's a ski-lift of sorts that can also give tour rides overhead. The people are somewhat nice, but it's rather chilly up here and some often give outsiders the cold shoulder. You'd better be pretty good with maps, because you probably won't be getting helpful directions any time soon.

Now you're going down another mountain, but instead of going all the way to the ground, it looks like you're going up again. Once you get a little bit down the first one, you go up the next into northern territories. This mountain is shorter, but it's much colder as it's farther north. It's covered in snow and it's incredibly common for blizzards to happen. Bring extra layers and enough food for a long time, because it's possible you may have to camp out in a cave for a few days.

No New Posts Nevepico Town

A relatively small town, and obviously because it's really cold. There's always snow, it's never hot, and there aren't many Pokemon to be seen. People are very quiet and tend to ignore you. The trees are mostly snow-covered pines, and so they aren't big enough to support buildings. Therefore, they're all packed tightly together on the ground, with triangular roofs so the snow falls off. Most of the buildings are surprising bright colors like red or green so they're easy to find in the vast white area. It's not uncommon to suddenly fall a few feet or so in the snow, but that's why there are a pack of specially-bred "Arcanines" to search for those who have fallen.

This route is a wreck. It looked like it had once been a beautiful forest surrounding a lake, but now it's mostly a big, massive lake... with hundreds of small islands, each with a tree or two on them. There are many fish Pokemon here, and even ocean Pokemon... I wonder why? Psychics are also incredibly common, for they like solitary islands of their own.

This city is floating on the water... well, not entirely. It's built on many little islands, with bridges and canals all throughout it. It's hard to find a walkway from one place to another, you usually have to cross some water. There are even pathways where you can walk on bridges on top of the buildings. On top, there's usually a little garden with some trees. A strange sight, yes, but beautiful.

Haha! Thought you were going on Victory Road, weren't you? Well, for you to have some time to train and maybe touch up on your Pokemon, this area is all open ocean. But all you need to do is go straight forward while riding on the water Pokemon you should have caught on the previous route, or one you caught before. It's said that something vicious roams this area, so make sure your Pokemon can handle it. Tales of horrible sea monsters...

No New Posts Poke-Mall

Never thought that you'd see such a thing on a foresty island, eh? The mall is filled with tons of shops and a Poke-center, too... It's a good place to relax and meet other people, as well. Plus, there are a bunch of these around the island, so there should be no trouble finding what you need.

No New Posts Team Noir HQ

Ah, the Team Noir HQ. Hidden in a snug forest, surrounded by electric, barb-wired fences. It looks so peaceful with its many Houndoom guard dogs glaring at you, eyes glowing red. Sometimes you can hear screams at night around this area. The building itself is large and black. All black, sometimes hard to find in the night. There are many guards dressed in black, probably Team Noir members.

All breeding barns, ranches, farms, and the like are located here. If you're looking for a Pokemon to purchase, or possibly some free Pokemon if you're lucky, you should check this out. Trainers can breed their Pokemon and sell them for DD, so don't spend too much on items, and make sure to earn a lot! It's not uncommon for some rare Pokemon to be put up for sale here.

No New Posts Media Tower

One of the things that makes the Evine region famous is the Media Tower. It's huge - right in the center of the region, towering over the other buildings. Colorful pictures of Pokemon line its outer walls, making it quite a sight. Radio programs, tv channels, newspapers, and all other sorts are located here! Trainers aspiring to be actors flood the entrance, and fans surround the building when someone famous is rumored to be staying there. A must-see place in the region.

No New Posts Kairza Island

Back when Evine Island was first found, criminals were stripped of their Pokemon and sent to Kairza island. A prison area of sorts, now abandoned and overgrown with jungle vines and trees, but the ruins remain. Sometimes people are still sent here alone for a little while, but not forever. Courageous trainers come here to catch some common electric Pokemon found here.

No New Posts Trainer Tower

The second largest tower on the island, close by to the Media Tower. Trainers from all over come here to trade, battle, and train. Here you can do all sorts of things, and there are often competitions for you to win hosted only here. It's less of a tower than a massive area with a few arenas and training areas... but it used to be only a tower, so they stuck with the name.
